SLA 5000
The latest in Stereolithography is coming to Metro Plastics Technologies.
3D Systems just introduced their new SLA 5000 and Metro will be installing one of the first machines produced for commercial use near the end of September.
The SLA 5000 has the same large physical capacity as the previous SLA 500 (500 mm cube). The new 5000 includes a solid state laser, new material formulation, reduced layer thickness and the revolutionary SMART SWEEP. These enhancements allow the SLA 5000 to produce large models with improved accuracy at a much greater speed.
SLA 250/50 & SLA 5000
Metro now has 2 SLA machines available 24 hours a day to meet your prototyping needs. Small intricate parts to large accurate models can be produced from your drawings. Two dimensional drawings, wire frames or solids data is all we need to turn your idea into a real part.
One part or several parts can be economically produced by the SLA process. If many parts or special mechanical properties are required, Metro can produce rubber molds and urethane castings to meet your specific requirements.
Pricing and Delivery
Metro can deliver most models within 3 working days. Special pricing is available if timing is not critical. When you request a quote from us, be specific about your delivery requirements. Orders placed with 7 day lead times will be discounted.
Metro Plastics continues to expand our design and modeling services. We are unique in the custom molding industry, offering design, prototyping and custom molding services at one location.
